It’s exam time for our VCE students and all in the College community are endeavouring in varied ways to support the girls’ final efforts. We pray that the girls remain calm in the lead up to each exam, that they apply their knowledge and skills with confidence, and that they maintain high levels of concentration and time management during the exams. May they do their best and reap the rewards of their study.
The College is delighted for Year 9 student, Olivia Voulgaris, who last week was awarded her certificate and prize as the State Winner for her year level of the National History Challenge 2018. The presentation and ceremony took place at the QT on Queen Street, Melbourne, on Friday 19 October.
OLMC’s High Tea in Heidelberg, held on Sunday 9 September, was generously supported by over 160 guests. Staff, parents and students began preparations weeks in advance of the event, organising food, drinks, table settings and decorations for the occasion. The culmination was a beautiful afternoon with high quality food and great company. As a fund-raiser for McAuley Community Services for Women, a Ministry of the Sisters of Mercy, the $6000 raised was a great outcome.
