Full time positions in our Mathematics and Science learning areas are available in 2018. These learning areas use contemporary pedagogy including digital technologies and inquiry learning. You would join teachers committed to ongoing professional learning to improve student outcomes.
As in other learning areas, a range of opportunities for students and teachers to develop their passions and abilities exist in Mathematics and Science – participation in the Maths Talent Quest, Australian Mathematics competition, Computational algorithmics thinking competition, Robogals, RACI crystal growing competition, a Year 8 program for students interested in biochemistry and a Makerspace to name a few.
In particular, we invite applications from teachers with the ability to teach chemistry, biology and mathematics to Year 12 and/or a combination of these subjects. Interest in STEM is essential, with some scope to include teaching in Digital Technologies or Computing.
